Biography
Yadira Rivera-Sanchez, M.D. is a pediatric pulmonologist at Children's Health℠. She is an associate professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as Co-Director for the high-risk asthma clinic and Multidisciplinary Pediatric Aerodigestive Center (MPAC) at Children's Medical Center Dallas.
Dr. Rivera-Sanchez earned her medical degree at the Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Puerto Rico. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and then received advanced training in pediatric pulmonary medicine through a fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology.
Dr. Rivera-Sanchez is member of the American Thoracic Society. She has also been on D Magazine's list for Best Pediatric Specialists.
