Biography
S. Serdar Dogan, M.D., is an ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal and external eye diseases, cataract and refractive surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and comprehensive ophthalmology at Children's Health℠. He is also an assistant professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Dogan earned his medical degree at Ankara University in Turkey, where he also performed his residency in ophthalmology. He also completed a second residency and fellowship in in corneal and external eye diseases, pediatric ophthalmology, and strabismus, all at UT Southwestern.
Dr. Dogan is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Cornea Society, and the Texas Ophthalmological Association.
He was included in D Magazine's Best Doctors in Collin County list in 2021.
Dr Dogan enjoys skiing and sailing with his wife, in his free time.
