Biography
Raymond Quigley, M.D., is a nephrologist at Children’s Health℠ and a Professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern. Dr. Quigley specializes in renal diseases that affect the blood electrolytes and caring for children with chronic kidney disease (CKD), those who require dialysis and children who are critically ill and face permanent kidney damage and loss of kidney function.
I feel honored that I have been here long enough to see many patients that were infants that have now grown and have graduated from high school. It is very rewarding to feel like I made a difference in their lives.
Dr. Quigley earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama. He completed his pediatrics residency and pediatric nephrology fellowship at UT Southwestern/Children’s Medical Center Dallas. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology.

Dr. Quigley is an active physician-researcher, studying topics such as the use of ferric citrate in children with chronic kidney disease and new technologies in dialysis. He is passionate about improving care for the most critically ill children.
With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Quigley is a recognized expert in kidney care. He has written several chapters for medical textbooks, serves as a reviewer for multiple medical journals and is on the editorial board of Pediatric Nephrology. He is a Castel Connolly Regional Top Doctor and an Advisory Board Member for the National Kidney Foundation of North Texas.
Every year, Dr. Quigley serves as the Medical Director for Camp Reynal, a camp designed for children with kidney and urology disease in North Texas.
Outside of work, Dr. Quigley enjoys playing the fiddle and juggling.
