MyChart Bedside Features
-
Home
The MyChart Bedside home screen contains general information about the current hospital stay. For example, you will see the patient’s last set of vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and breathing rate), a list of problems or diagnoses that are being watched in the hospital, and depending on whether you have proxy access, a current list of the medicines being given in the hospital.
The list of problems/diagnoses on the Home screen comes from information entered by the hospital care team for the current hospital stay. It will not list health concerns that are not being actively watched during this hospital stay. If you do not see a problem/diagnosis listed that you feel should be addressed during the hospital stay, please talk about this with your hospital care team.

Lets eat
Let’s eat allows the patient or the parent/legal guardian (proxy) to place meal orders from the hospital kitchen. The menu presented follows the ordered diet by the patient’s doctor.
After selecting “Let’s Eat”, press the Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner button to select the meal period for your order. You can order for the current mealtime (represented by a green dot) or a future meal through the next day.
View the daily menu by choosing a category and scrolling through the meal items, including beverages and condiments. The patient’s diet order and allergy data are automatically connected to the Bedside app, so you can only see items the patient is allowed to eat and/or drink.
The categories button is in the top right corner of the screen. To view the diet order from the patient’s doctor, select the downward arrow next to the patient’s name.
Tap the meal item you want to order. Select the quantity desired and tap the “Add to Order” button. Repeat this step to add other menu items to your order. After making your meal selections, press the “Order Summary” button.
Review your order and make any adjustments by tapping the quantity number next to the meal item (+ or -). To remove an item, change the quantity to zero. You can change the delivery time of your meal with the dropdown arrow in the right corner of the meal order.
Press the “Place Order” button to submit your meal order.
After the order is submitted, if you want to change or add an item to the meal order, you must delete the entire order and start again with a new order.
To return to the MyChart Bedside app, select the “X” on the browser bar.

I would like
I would like lets you make non-urgent requests of some of the services we offer on the unit. For example, a patient might request comfort items like a clean hospital gown or blanket.
This is not meant for urgent communication with your hospital care team. If the patient needs immediate medical attention, please use the call light at your bed.
-
MyChart
If you have a Children’s Health MyChart account, you can log into your MyChart account from the bottom of the MyChart screen by clicking the “Go to MyChart Now!” button.
If your child is under the age of 18, complete the form on the MyChart Signup screen to ask for proxy use to your child’s health record (MyChart).
To protect your child’s health information, our Health Information Management Department must verify your identity before granting you full access to your child’s health record. There will be a delay before you can view certain test results, manage appointments, and other features when logging in with your MyChart username and password.
We will contact you if we have any questions about your information. Please note that access to a child’s record through MyChart can only be given to the patient’s parent or legal guardian.
Patients who are 14 years of age or older can also have access to their own MyChart account with their parent/legal guardian’s permission. The parent/legal guardian must request a Minor Account for their teen by completing the Parental/Guardian Consent Access to MyChart form through their Children’s Health MyChart account.
