Biography

Monika Tiido, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA, is a clinical audiologist with Children's Health℠. Dr. Tiido sees adults and children with hearing loss and balance conditions. She uses advanced assessment techniques to make accurate diagnoses and help each patient receive the care they need, whether it is a hearing aid or vestibular therapy. Dr. Tiido works closely with ear, nose and throat physicians (otolaryngologists), who treat medical causes of hearing and balance problems.

Dr. Tiido received her bachelor’s degree from Tallinn University, Estonia. She received her doctorate in audiology from Rush University, Chicago, IL. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, Dallas Audiology Society, and Texas Academy of Audiology. She is a faculty associate at UT Southwestern in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Communicative and Vestibular Disorders.

Dr. Tiido volunteers as a reviewer of proposals for the Research Forums for the American Academy of Audiology annual Conventions, as well as for the Special Olympics Healthy Hearing Program and Senior Source hearing screenings.
