Maeve Sheehan, M.D., serves as Chief Medical Officer for Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Dr. Sheehan is responsible for strengthening clinical operations at the Dallas campus.
Dr. Sheehan is a highly acclaimed pediatric physician with expertise in sepsis, pediatric transport, patient flow and safety. She is currently a Professor and Vice Chair for Clinical Operations at UT Southwestern.
Dr. Sheehan graduated from the University College in Dublin and completed further training in pediatrics and neonatology in Ireland. She then completed a pediatric and adolescent medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and a pediatric critical care fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
