Biography
Aakash Goyal, M.D., is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Children's Health℠ and an Associate Professor UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in eosinophilic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, feeding difficulties, and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Goyal earned his medical degree at B.J. College, University of Pune, India. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and received advanced training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition through a fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric gastroenterology.
His research interests include eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease and feeding disorders. He has delivered numerous invited lectures and has published a number of academic articles.
Dr. Goyal was included in D Magazine's Best Doctors list for 2018 and 2019.
